Speakers for the 2009 Conference are experts in their respect fields of practice. The Keynote presenters are professors from schools of social work. The majority Workshop presenters are Masters Level and/or Licensed human service professionals from various disciplines.  Students from Schools of Social Work will be presenting Poster Sessions at the Conference.

Submission Guidelines for Poster Sessions and 1.5 hour Workshops

1. Only Online Submissions will be accepted by this online form and email attachments.

2. Complete this online form.

3. Along with this online form, please submit a 250-300 word abstract with your resume/vitae to socialwork@lswo.org (Specify the Names of All speakers with their professional titles (licensures and certifications), as well as send in Resume/Vitaes of all speakers.)

4. 1.5 workshop proposals will be reviewed by the  LSWO Continuing Education Committee. Final decision on proposals will be made by January 6, 2009.

Timelines:

Deadline for 1.5 hour workshop submissions: January 5, 2009.

Deadline for Student Poster Sessions:   February 5, 2009
